Summary:

Coadministration has not been studied but based on metabolism and clearance a clinically significant interaction is unlikely. Clopidogrel is a prodrug that is converted to its active metabolites via CYPs 3A4, 2B6, 2C19 and 1A2. Molnupiravir does not inhibit or induce CYPs and is unlikely to have significant drug-drug interactions with other therapies. Molnupiravir is rapidly metabolized by esterases to a nucleoside metabolite which is phosphorylated to an active triphosphate.
